❤︎‬Six Flags trip 2025!❤︎‬

Hi, today I went to "Six Flags: Great Adventure" :)
I went with my family of course! We had a full day pass. I've always went to six flags with my family since I was a kid, I was basically born there! But if i'm being honest six flags kinda sucks. Six flags is known for being good but not as amazing as Disney or Universal. Everyone sees it as a cheaper theme park to take the family. I have never been to either Disney or Universal ( :( ) but I think most people think this. Everyone goes to Universal and Disney for the immersion/rollercoasters/rides but people go to six flags only for the rides/it's something to do if you're nearby. But that's just my opinion :T I forgot to mention that I hate scary tall roallercoasters and all six flags has is mostly scary rides and kiddie rides :dead: so I'm a bit biased.
Anyway... I entered six flags like an hour before it was going to open. It was nice, not many people came early. We had very short lines :excited: I first went of Harley Quinn's crazy train, I went on it when I was a kid, still looks the same :) but I remember it being called "runaway train" but I don't know if it changed or if it was always called that. I rate this ride an 8/10 in enjoyment and an 5/10 in intensity. A good ride I am nostalgic towards. I actually went a second time and it was my last ride of the day. Definitely a ride made for those who don't want to go on those large and scary rides, too bad there aren't more of them around the park. Next I went on buckaneer, that one swaying boat attraction. Nice and simple and not too scary, pretty fun too! Kinda short though. I rate it an 8/10 in enjoyment and a 5/10 in intensity. I was seated in the middle of the boat, if you were sitting near the edges of the boat the ride probably would've been more intense for you. Two girls were seated on the edge of the boat and they were screaming their head off
While my dad was in the bathroom me and the rest of my party decided to go on skull mountain! Since the park was pretty empty in the morning there was no wait so we decided to go on it while we waited for my dad to finish using the bathroom. I don't know what I expected this ride to be but this shit is SCARY :scared: Okay first, the waiting line to the ride was a creepy long cave. when we get to where we are supposed to get on the actual ride I get this eerie feeling. I sit next to my mom, my two other sibling sit with each other behind us. I forgot to tell you that you can't bring glasses on the rollercoasters, the staff will tell you to take it off. I must let you know I have terrible eyesight. So I set my bag and my glasses aside. The ride starts, at first it was slow and then the scary part happens... the ride enters a dark room then this is where the scary rollercoaster stuff starts. We almost immediately go down a drop, my mom instantly starts shrieking. We are going FAST and it never stops. We twist and turn, thankfully never going upside down. All while i'm blind as a bat, the room is pitch dark and I already can't see well. It adds to the intensity. I don't think I would've gone on this ride if It didn't have a building covering it. Still I did have a bit of fun and I screamed too :) I rate this ride a 3/10 in enjoyment and a 8/10 in intensity. If you want to ride a roller coaster in the dark this is a perfect ride for you! maybe not for me though...
Next I went on the ferris wheel! a very common but fun attraction. I took a pic of the view :)
While the ferris wheel car was going up I honestly started regretting going on this ride, I'm a bit scared of heights. We went for three turns around and around. I got a bit used to it but on the third turn the ride stopped for a few minutes and I started freaking out a bit. For enjoyment I rate it a 7/10 and for intensity I rate it a 6/10.
I won a toy at one of the carnival games :) Well technically my family won it for me. It was the dart throwing game.
Isn't he so cute~?
I thought it was a wolf or a dog but no! it was an adorable little seal:love: Awww so cute!
After that I went to another ride. My favorite type of ride, teacups! I'm not sure if that's what this ride is typically called but I always call it that. It's that one ride with the spinning teacups. I love getting dizzy and I love the teacup theme so this is my favorite type of ride! I looooove going fast on this ride, too bad my party didn't like getting dizzy. I rate it a 10/10 in enjoyment and a 3/10 in intensity. You won't like this ride very much if you don't like getting dizzy:dizzy:
I also got some dippin dot~ enjoy my pic
After I ate some burgers and then I went to Houdini's great escape!
I didn't expect to like this ride but it was pretty fun! I actually had no idea what it was going to be about, I didn't know if it was gonna be an indoor roller coaster like skull mountain or a haunted house but I found out it was a similar ride to buckaneer but with a spooky haunted housed layover and a story.
First we entered a room with a bunch of old Victorian looking furniture and magician tools. It's a very fun and scary looking place. A lady's voice from the speakers welcomes us and tells us the tale of Houdini and how he was a great magician and died during one of his performances but his spirit is still haunting this mansion (or something like that). After that explanation we hear an aggressive splash coming from the Chinese water torture chamber. The women says something along the lines of "Houdini's spirit everywhere!". Next the candelabra near the paining also moves.
After that whole thing a door opens by itself and this is the ride part of the attraction. We are seated similarly to the buckaneer ride. Only two horizontal rows, everyone is facing the opposite side. The bar part of the seat that makes sure you don't fall off is very very tight. I'm alerting you if you are a bigger person and you'd like to go on this ride. When the ride starts the seats start swaying back and forth, the room itself seems to be spinning as well. At one points it looks like the room is upside down but we weren't actually upside down, it was an illusion! I rate the enjoyment of this ride a 9/10, For the first time I wish a ride was a bit more thrilling :o For intensity I give it a 3/10, It's like a less scary buckaneer.
I didn't go on more any rides after all that until the end of my stay, That was most of the less scary rides that weren't babyish. I also went into a gift shop and found this cute little thing~
I saw this same exact hamster plush at the carnival games but the game needed 10 people and we were a party of 5. But I have it now~ I went on Harley Quinn's crazy train one last time before we left. In conclusion I rate six flags great adventure park a 10/10 in thrills rides, a 5/10 in food, and a 10/10 in kiddie rides. Overall a I rate it a 6/10 in theme parks. Just my personal opinion...
That's all folks!
