❤︎‬Why i'll never buy official lizlisa(and other "himekaji" brands)❤︎‬

Hellow everyone! :wave: Sorry for being absent!!! I am in my second semester of college and my freelance art venture has made me very busy:( So I havent had the chance to truly sit down and write (I also didn't know what to write). But now i'm here and its all fine and dandy~! :)

Now onto the thing I want to talk about: Why i'll never buy official lizlisa! (and other "himekaji" brands)

I put quotation marks on himekaji because most of these brands are not himekaji brands but fast fashion brands that stocks the most popular thing at the moment. Lizlisa, other stores that stocked himekaji as well as gyaru brands in general now focus on jirai kei/ryousangata clothing now. Y'know why? cuz its a trend now! These fast fashion stores follow trends! Lizlisa, dear my love, ect are not himekaji brands but trendy brands, brands that follow trends. Hot Topic is also similar. It used to have a lot of emo stuff and now it has a ton of anime, sanrio, FNAF and other Hot topics.

My second point is that lizlisa clothing is low quality. Buttons fall of and their shoes especially peel a lot :scared:

My second point is that it's just way to expensive to buy vintage/second hand lizlisa. There are several people on mercari, depop, ebay that are wanting 200$+ for a single piece of clothing even if it's damaged. It's just insane. You can call me a cheapskate but i'm not buying that no way! Back when these pieces first released they were way cheaper so it's just not fair to resell them for more especially if it's not in perfect condition.

My third point is that gyaru is trend currently and that's why it's gotten so expensive secondhand. I saw a post on the jfashion subreddit talking about a person that is willing to trade gucci for lizlisa, jesus diamante, or la parfait pieces. These brands will never be worth that much. Lizlisa and these other brands are fast fashion well... gucci kinda is too but gucci will be expensive forever, it's designer. Lizlisa? who knows when the gyaru trend will die and these pieces will be worth 30$ again.

I also enjoy hunting for things that could work in a himekaji c*de. It's fun being super excited when you see the perfect dress or shoes for much cheaper. I found some pieces at burlington, marshalls, JCpenny, and at flea markets. I hope I convinced you. I don't want to support these scalpers and you shouldn't either! Thanks~ :)

I got these cute Jack keychains from etsy and a Floyd freebie sticker! the shop is called “stomachtwisting” on etsy.

I also got this Jack nendoroid! I finally found someone that isn’t selling him for $200+ :excited: This was literally a dream fig for so long, so happy I finally have him~:heart: The person was a former Jack fan it seems like that was selling a bunch Jack stuff. I also bought some plushies and keychains from them too!

I got this cute alpacasso plush from mercari!:heart: I love love looove alpacasso!:excited: I’m unsure if this one is legit though but they’re so cute I don’t care! I did buy some more alpacasso so let’s see if those are real! :)

❤︎‬Pidgeon, outfits, update!!!❤︎‬

Hello~ sorry for not posting as much :(  I’ve been busy with my art. I’m not sure if you guys know but i’m also an artist. I’m a hobbyist and an ameture artist so I haven’t been getting crazy sales or anything. Just some adopts sold and a handful of commissions this last month. Anyway… did I show you my pidgeon?

His name is Pollo and he or she is adorable. I’ve been calling him a “he” because he just gives off those vibes. I also saw a video saying if you put a pigeon in front of a mirror and if they groom themselves instead of just sitting next to their reflection it means they’re male. I’m not sure if it’s accurate or not but eh i’m sure he’s a boy. I also bought some cute juicy couture boots at either burlington or marshals (Either one of those).

I’ve been christmas shopping a lot too. I’ve also been buying a TON of merch. I’ve been crazy about these pote usa loppy plushies. I still have one more on the way! :3

I’ve also been buying a bunch of Jack merch. I found someone that isn’t selling his nendoroid for $200+ :excited: As an adult with a child’s heart I’ve just been buying everything. I need to stop because I want to save for a toyko disney trip in the future. I’ve been trying to earn a little back with my art commissions and adoptables.  I kinda regret being scared of posting my art all these years. Maybe I would’ve actually grown a following by now but it’s okay! I’ve been getting sales at least two or three times a month and i’ve been an active artist since november! :3

Okay I want to talk about twst now. I've been buying a lot of Jack merch for my shrine. Of course for a reasonable price. I don't want to waste so much money. I watched translation of the newest event. The nightmare before christmas one. I just love it so much first event in a while where I was really interested in the story. I LOVE the song in this event. It's just so cute... Everyone is singing in english and it just sounds so good!:excited: Jack's english was super good :blush: Turns out the voice actor lived abroad and he knows english pretty well. It makes me want to go see him at a con even more now!:excited:

❤︎‬Reviewing! Docomo Fujitsu F-03D Arrows Kiss ❤︎‬

 

Hello everybody! :wave: My package came in yesterday from ebay! a 2011 “docomo fujitsu F-03D arrows kiss”!:heart:

Isn’t it cute? a pink shell and diamond buttons! It came with its stylus as well :) The seller didn’t sell it to me with a charger(I forgot to ask) Well it didn’t matter anyway because I found a random charger on my desk that works with it!:laugh: Thank god because I was so close to ordering a micro usb on amazon lol

(Ignore the seed, I have a pet pidgeon now. More on that in a different entry:dizzy: )

The buttons actually glow sometimes! it’s that cool? I think I waited around 3 hours for it to fully charge. 

The lock screen is quite cute. I love the heart:heart: The seller said they reset it but they didn’t know how to change it into english. I was able to though. I did my research and the way to change the language was to go into the settings and find a button with an “A” on it. When you click it you’ll see two options, japanese and english. Click the english option. Now most text is in english! There I also found some other languages to download but I wasn’t able to connect the phone to wifi. Oh yeah by the way I bought the  phone for collecting purposes! It’s unfortunate that you can’t use this phone in modern days. It only uses 3G and since it’s such an old phone most apps it came with don’t work anymore. Now… onto the apps! This is a purikura app that was made for this type of phone(the white version and the popteen version have this s well)

Many cute modes. It’s supposed to edit your face(i’m a bit too shy to do a demonstration right now~:blush:)

Lady plush will be my model:3 The stickers are the cutest ever!:heart: What I noticed while using the stylus is that sometimes it just straight up doesn’t work which sucks because this phone is TINY! and I can’t see what i'm drawing when I use my finger!:pout:

I also did purikura of Jack~:heart: I show off some of the cute heart stickers as well:) Another feature that was advertised was the calendar app. Like the purikura app you can add stickers and draw on it as well:3

You can put images and mark specific dates and times so you can keep track of aalll the things you need to do throughout the month:busy: A less talked about feature is this memo pad app

It’s very simple, you can write little notes~ There are makes kinds of backgrounds. I chose this heart one simply because it was cute! There are regular rectangular shapes too!:)

Well… and that’s it! I wonder how this phone operated back then? All I see online is about how cute it was. Was it a quality phone or was it mediocre cutesy phone with some cute stickers apps on it? Either way it's a nice addition to my new cutesy phone collection ^_^

❤︎‬Disney Twisted Wonderland anime episode one and two!❤︎‬

 

Hellow people!!!:wave: and happy late halloween!

I’m sorry I haven’t been able to keep up with posting… I haven’t had time to truly sit down and write and there’s been problems with my bank… and it’s just a bit hectic right now. I’ll probably talk about it in a different post haha! :sweat: Anyway… let’s talk about the most important thing rn… twst!!!

Okay so I was literally soooo excited to watch the first ep! I woke up… and I was like omg the first ep!!!! The twst episodes release when i’m sleeping so I try to watch them a bit later when i’ve already eaten breakfast since I have a bunch of snacks saved up and I wanna eat em’ while watching the anime :yum: So… the first episode. It was amazing! I feel like they were panning to the cast too much lol and they kept going like “hmm” and “ahh” :laugh: Yuuken is very interesting, most of the time in an isekai the main character is depressed and a loser but Yuuken had a life he was on his last episode lol. The anime itself is beautiful… so magical and unknown. It felt like I was playing twst for the first time!:heart: There was even a Jack cameo! eeeeeee~!:excited: (I really didn’t expect that!) Yuuken is such a good boy why are you so mean Riddle? TwT My opinions on the english dub: Good! except Jack… his voice is way too deep… he sounds like a brute… Maybe i’m being harsh because he’s my fav but I just don’t like it…No hate to the voice actor he has a wonderful amazing voice! just not for Jack… I will still be watching both dubs anyway!(cuz i’m obsessed with this franchise :P)

Second ep!!! It was so cool! It left us on a cliffhanger! ughhh I want the next episode now!!!:mad: Yuuken is okay with ghosts it seems like. Very different from in the game. Yuuken is very nice to Grim in this. Grim reminds him of his underclassmen back at home. I was surprised with the random Grim lore, he looked so sad :( Ace is honestly such a jerk he deserves to be blasted by Grim’s fire. I noticed that the Ursula statue is so thin. Did they put her on ozempic? lol. At the end of every ep they have these little chibi mini episodes. Jack was in this one! Jack fans are lucky! He was working out by lifting his bed!?:surprised: I didn’t even know he could do that. I know he can carry large logs but it was never specified the height, width, and weight of it. Jack’s muscles are godly and must be treasured:heart: He english voice was REALLY realistic. Almost too realistic when carrying the bed… he did sound a bit better… still too deep though…
