Sorry for not making many blog posts in the last few months… I’ll try to write one once a day! :busy: There’s just a lot of heat nowadays but today it started raining a bit. let’s hope it stays a bit longer!

My new bird, Cookie :heart:

It’s she precious? She came home safely. She was very nervous at first but is adjusting well. Pollo has never seen another pigeon before since she was a baby so she was curious about Cookie’s feathers. Especially her feet feathers, she nibbled her a bit when I put them in the same cage. Cookie did NOT appreciate it :lol: But now they warmed up to each other a bit. Not best friends yet but more like roommates. They’re sleeping near each other right now so I think things will be okay. Sorry for such a short update! Next post will be about summer himekaji looks :)

Hello! :)

I’m sorry for not posting… :( I just don’t have much motivation to post these days but there’s no way i’m abandoning this blog! (especially since I worked so hard on the layout). A few weeks ago I took my pet pigeon to the vet, she was sick with something (she’s healed now). But I didn’t know the gender so I requested a blood test. Which I shouldn't have done because avian blood test are way cheaper online :’(

Like two weeks later I find out she’s female. I was so sure she was male this whole time T_T. It’s okay though because when I get another female they’ll be less likely to fight. By the way i’m getting another pigeon! A beautiful lahore pigeon. She hasn’t shipped yet but i’ll probably post again when she gets here.

This is her~ :heart: Hopefully she doesn’t die while shipping (yes you can ship birds). The pigeon itself is not that expensive but the shipping will probably be like $30+ dollars :T Oh well it doesn’t matter to me because this is basically my dream pigeon. Even before getting Pollo I really admired these lahore pigeons. I especially love the light brown ones.

Today I actually went to the flea market. There wasn’t many vendors though probably because it was a bit cold. During the summer there’s a lot more vendors and people. I only got a hair clip and a basket for my pigeon.

There were some cute heels there but they were too big :(

I love gold a lot. Gold + pink is absolutely adorable. I’m excited to try this clip on with a himekaji outfit:heart:

❤︎‬Why i'll never buy official lizlisa(and other "himekaji" brands)❤︎‬

Hellow everyone! :wave: Sorry for being absent!!! I am in my second semester of college and my freelance art venture has made me very busy:( So I havent had the chance to truly sit down and write (I also didn't know what to write). But now i'm here and its all fine and dandy~! :)

Now onto the thing I want to talk about: Why i'll never buy official lizlisa! (and other "himekaji" brands)

I put quotation marks on himekaji because most of these brands are not himekaji brands but fast fashion brands that stocks the most popular thing at the moment. Lizlisa, other stores that stocked himekaji as well as gyaru brands in general now focus on jirai kei/ryousangata clothing now. Y'know why? cuz its a trend now! These fast fashion stores follow trends! Lizlisa, dear my love, ect are not himekaji brands but trendy brands, brands that follow trends. Hot Topic is also similar. It used to have a lot of emo stuff and now it has a ton of anime, sanrio, FNAF and other Hot topics.

My second point is that lizlisa clothing is low quality. Buttons fall of and their shoes especially peel a lot :scared:

My next point is that it's just way to expensive to buy vintage/second hand lizlisa. There are several people on mercari, depop, ebay that are wanting 200$+ for a single piece of clothing even if it's damaged. It's just insane. You can call me a cheapskate but i'm not buying that no way! Back when these pieces first released they were way cheaper so it's just not fair to resell them for more especially if it's not in perfect condition.

My last point is that gyaru is trend currently and that's why it's gotten so expensive secondhand. I saw a post on the jfashion subreddit talking about a person that is willing to trade gucci for lizlisa, jesus diamante, or la parfait pieces. These brands will never be worth that much. Lizlisa and these other brands are fast fashion well... gucci kinda is too but gucci will be expensive forever, it's designer. Lizlisa? who knows when the gyaru trend will die and these pieces will be worth 30$ again.

I also enjoy hunting for things that could work in a himekaji c*de. It's fun being super excited when you see the perfect dress or shoes for much cheaper. I found some pieces at burlington, marshalls, JCpenny, and at flea markets. I hope I convinced you. I don't want to support these scalpers and you shouldn't either! Thanks~ :)

I also got this Jack nendoroid! I finally found someone that isn’t selling him for $200+ :excited: This was literally a dream fig for so long, so happy I finally have him~:heart: The person was a former Jack fan it seems like that was selling a bunch Jack stuff. I also bought some plushies and keychains from them too!

I got this cute alpacasso plush from mercari!:heart: I love love looove alpacasso!:excited: I’m unsure if this one is legit though but they’re so cute I don’t care! I did buy some more alpacasso so let’s see if those are real! :)

❤︎‬Pidgeon, outfits, update!!!❤︎‬

Hello~ sorry for not posting as much :(  I’ve been busy with my art. I’m not sure if you guys know but i’m also an artist. I’m a hobbyist and an ameture artist so I haven’t been getting crazy sales or anything. Just some adopts sold and a handful of commissions this last month. Anyway… did I show you my pidgeon?

His name is Pollo and he or she is adorable. I’ve been calling him a “he” because he just gives off those vibes. I also saw a video saying if you put a pigeon in front of a mirror and if they groom themselves instead of just sitting next to their reflection it means they’re male. I’m not sure if it’s accurate or not but eh i’m sure he’s a boy. I also bought some cute juicy couture boots at either burlington or marshals (Either one of those).

I’ve been christmas shopping a lot too. I’ve also been buying a TON of merch. I’ve been crazy about these pote usa loppy plushies. I still have one more on the way! :3

I’ve also been buying a bunch of Jack merch. I found someone that isn’t selling his nendoroid for $200+ :excited: As an adult with a child’s heart I’ve just been buying everything. I need to stop because I want to save for a toyko disney trip in the future. I’ve been trying to earn a little back with my art commissions and adoptables.  I kinda regret being scared of posting my art all these years. Maybe I would’ve actually grown a following by now but it’s okay! I’ve been getting sales at least two or three times a month and i’ve been an active artist since november! :3

Okay I want to talk about twst now. I've been buying a lot of Jack merch for my shrine. Of course for a reasonable price. I don't want to waste so much money. I watched translation of the newest event. The nightmare before christmas one. I just love it so much first event in a while where I was really interested in the story. I LOVE the song in this event. It's just so cute... Everyone is singing in english and it just sounds so good!:excited: Jack's english was super good :blush: Turns out the voice actor lived abroad and he knows english pretty well. It makes me want to go see him at a con even more now!:excited:
